The Drum-Leaf binding is a perfect vessel for displaying photographs and prints across an uninterrupted page spread that lies flat. The structure, created by Tim Ely, requires no sewing and is bound solely with adhesive. Each page spread is folded accordion style and “drummed” together. We will learn two methods for spine treatment: a simple flexible option and an advanced quarter-cloth cover with pop-out spine piece. All materials are included and no previous bookbinding experience is required.
